Window tint for a cab. Back is plastic???

I have a 996 conv. I was going to tint the side windows... What do you do with a plastic rear window? Is there a way to tint it? What have other people done, w/o tinting the rear I think it will look stupid. Thanks for any help

A good tint shop can tint a plastic window.

Just this week I saw all of the plastic windows on a Jeep Wrangler softtop tinted... looked great.

Just make sure they have done it before. And if they haven't find another place to get it done.

?

It won't be trouble folding when the top goes down? I figured it would buckle or peel from folding.

valid point, but if you are talking about a quality tint shop, it will be fine. Just find a company that has done it before.

Not that cost is always commensurate with quality, but I would plan on 350-400 for a quality tint job including the plastic rear window.

These $99 tint guys.... I would not trust them with your rear plastic window. If they damage it or cut it, you'll have real problems.

The tint applied to my rear plastic window never had any issues.
It was perfect, no bubbling, buckling, for 6 years before I replaced the top and got a glass window in the back.

You can buy online, you still have to have it sewn in that's the expensive part , the plastic is cheap

Where can I find the tinted plastic window for my 996 cab? I think it would be worth the money in SC.
