Will a regular 996 OEM Turbo Front Bumper fit on my 2002 996?

I searched for a while and couldn't find this exact answer. I have a 2002 996 *NON-TURBO* I want to get the Turbo front bumper look, can i just buy a used Turbo Front Bumper and get it painted and put it right on or will it need modifications?

I see many oem used 996 Turbo front bumpers on ebay for as low as $300...just need paint ect..

If i buy one of those can i just remove my regular bumper and put this one on?

Ersel is on a distinguished road
And what other parts are needed besides the bumper cover? What about all the plastic horiz. pieces inside the cover or the rubber black lip at the bottom? Love the look.

Hey fly, what do you think of the Turbo bumper compared to the GT one you had on? I think the Turbo is a bit more subtle, that GT bumper is a little too aggressive, but sometimes it looks good...i'm not sure ...confused!

You are right, the Turbo bumper is more subtle than the TechArt style. It's a very nice upgrade over the standard 996 C2 bumper which I think looks very weak and feels "floaty" on the front. The Turbo bumper does a good job of stabilizing most of the front end lift. The TechArt is much more aggressive looking (some like it, some don't), is lower than the Turbo (scrapes much more often) and provides even more downforce on the front. I'll be switching back to it.

If i get the turbo i wanna get a little lip that goes on it, but not that plastic black looking thing, maybe one thats a little more aggressive..or maybe that black one would look good if i painted it!

A Turbo Aero Lip (below) is available but it cost ~$500-600 for the lip alone. Also, when you hit or bend a painted lip the paint will crack. I would not paint the lip unless you are ready to constantly re-paint it.
