Springs h&r .

I have a 996 3.6 x 51 with original shocks and springs h & r. I checked the distances from the center of the wheels to the front fender on the car and 'higher than 5 mm. I checked the assembly code and it 's all right, only the rubber cushion in front touches the top, that' there is no rush. cut 1-2 cm? Do you think it changes the front?
If I wanted to lower the car 1 cm cutting the springs?

you really shouldnt be sitting on the bumpstops. if your car is still and you can see the strut resting on the bumpstop then there is a problem. how many miles on the struts/shocks? they may be worn out, are they oily and dirty?

I would have it checked out. I agree with racin that cutting the springs is not a good idea.

by cutting the springs your going to ruin the ride quality.

if you dont like the way these ride get a different set for 300$ as the installation on taking off springs and cutting them will be more then new springs.
