Don't do it! The side air vent on the TT is the intake for the inter-cooler. If you don't have inter-coolers why would you put a vent there? Get better wheels instead - or buy a turbo.

I agree with Slider I would focus on new wheels and adjustable suspension a side vent install on a non turbo model is a terrible wast of time and money.

I think someone on the board by the name "omarcool" ? did it to his narrow body.

I wouldn't do it, but everyone has their own ideas.

for example: I used to be anti fixed wing guy, unless you had a gt car or turbo. And now i'm getting a wing for my 4S. Opinions change frequently, but its your own opinion that counts for your own car.

With springs, or coilovers, and what brand? Does this include 4 wheel alignment?

Check with Damon at tirerack.com for coilovers, they carry KW and H&R and he is good dude and could prolly help you make the best decision then just find a place to do the install.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but my opinion is that the C4S looks wonderful with the wide hips and no side vent. The lines of the car flow so much better than those of the turbo. Keep it the way it is!

I agree with previous comments - if you really like it, then see if you can find a turbo that fits your budget.

This reminds of me (a little) of porsche 911 owners in the mid to late 80s disagreeing on whether to put those black stone guards on the front of their rear fenders. Remember this?

If you are dead set on these vents, you would have to go with a real top notch auto body guy.... a real craftsman.... I would think this mod is uncommon so it would be tough to find someone who has done it before. I would hate to see them installed incorrectly, as in, slightly crooked or something. And like previous posts, this type of mod would be only for you, you wont get this money back when its time to sell like you would with other mods mentioned in this forum, and it could slightly decrease the value of your car when you decide to sell, being that its non-functioning air vent.

Good luck.
