I'll post a few pics of my riced out stock bodied supra in the OT soon.

If a p-car owner posted that he raced say a Ferrari or Lambo and was excited to see if they were on the board would you bash them? I don't think so. Don't let a select few here discourage you, this board is almost completely full of wonderful guys and girls.

BTW, Ducky I love Supras post some pics if you have the chance but better put them in Off-Topic section before you get flamed more, they are pretty rare in my area, only about 7-10 total. So whenever I see one I try to give them a thumbs up or just slow down and admire it, but then again I dont own a Porsche...

nice... i've always liked supras, especially the potential power some of the cars put forth. But yeah, some supra owners take it a bit too far in terms of aesthetics...

neon lights, obtrusive kits, reflective stickers... mmmm my favorite!

Ducky,

Don't worry about it..... relax a little though, most of the people here were just teasing you a bit but that's just our way of saying "hello"....

I used to be a real "ROTOR-HEAD", Yes Mazda RX-7 guy. I loved the high RPMs and endless amount of mods available.... Of course my 996 doesn't really compare with the HP the RX-7 had but the Porsche will out handle it any day of the week.

I'll still say that it was one nice drift-car to own.....

I too like the TT Supra and thought about picking one up just to see if I could bring it up to the 1200 HP range just for kicks.... I've seen one doing eights in the 1/4 and boy was that a sight!!!

Have fun with what you can afford and call it a day!

-Eli

Oh, okay, you've got two turbos. I'm impressed. We've also got a 1.8T'r in the forum saying it's okay. No problema. But quite frankly, there's no other reason for you to post some BS in this forum about racing and beating a Carerra other than to try to prove something. What else were you going to do, introduce yourself and ask for a date or something? Get real. I'll speak for myself, it's clear what and why you're in here. If you love Porsche's so much why didn't you go out and buy an older Carrera and/or an SC? I had an SC heavily modified and now own a 996 (for the 1.8T'r, I also have a 3.0 A4 Sport 6SP, not a little 1.8T), and I suspect you could have purchased a good SC for what you have in the ricer and have a far superior car. So bro, I don't buy it. Seems like you were simply trying to impress some on the forum by your "two turbos" and that you can drive fast. My 996 definitely has more to go beyond 140!

Ciao fella.

Thumbs down

All this sympathy, gross. At least one in this forum sees through this BS. Now let's have the next guy in the Hyundai or Yugo in here and tell us what a cool car he has too and how he has tricked it out with twin turbos. It's enough that they constantly pull up beside you and rev their engines to the max. I have to laugh at them as well as the faster-than-Porsche-Tricked-out-Supra-that is soooooooo fast.

Evo, a "war", how old are you anyway? I may have only posted, what twice? Okay, I read the forums and check out the pictures, advice, etc. But I'm not a dreamer, pretender, or BS'r. I also don't go into forums like ricers, etc. where it wouldn't reason for me to be there, of course unless I had something to prove or wanted to start a "war".

Now, I'm really worried mind you. Tough talk for a forum hiding behind a monitor -- nice and safe. Is that right. Grow up fella, I'm just stating the obvious with the ricer. You like the Supra? Good for you. You've stated your opinion, I've done mine. A "war"? Too funny.

Ducky,

I'm located by the PNC arts center area, but drive my 996 daily driver so you'll see me all over the tri-state including PA and NY when I leave the comfort of my home office and visit customers.

Where are you located?

Cheers,
Corey

Wow some of you guys really ripped into the poor guy. If anyone should be called a ricer its me lol(s2000) But I even it out with the porsche so i guess I am just normal. Seriously though, I would not consider a supra TT a ricer car. They can make some serious power and the only car that I ever raced in the 944(when it was street legal) that passed me was a very fast supra. Plus the guy says he loves porsches. Ducky, I do think that they are just teasing you now bro. Just trying to give you a tough welcome

What is BS? My kill story? Call it BS all you want, I don't blame ya for not beliveing me. Your theory of my presence is truly lame...I guess that's what you go around doing eh? Just because you do it, that doesnt mean I do the same. You talk about having a reason for my thread....If my reason doesnt qualify to you then, so be it. It's a free country and I get to speak my mind. Like I asked previoulsy, I wanted to see if it was one of the members that I ran into....apparently not. Did I mention about beating it in my original post? NO. Come on!! It's called R E A D I N G!!!

I only said I beat it since someone asked who won. I guess you go on dates with guys....er...I don't, However I don't mind meeting up with auto enthusiats for a nice cruise and some pulls on the freeway.

Why didn't I buy a porsche if I love it so much? I can't even afford a junked porsche at my point of life. Frankly, I don't like much of the older porsches and I haven't done any thorough research as to buying a porsche yet. When i'm ready, I'll buy a porsche that suits my taste.

BTW, I have no clue what SC is. Educate me no that one.

I bought a supra cuz it's been my dream car. On the other hand, a porsche isnt. Porsches are one of the cars that I'd love to buy, but a supra is my main car.

Dude, I was only correcting you when you said turbo. I'm not hear to impress any one. I simply don't have to! DUH! I have other things in life to do.

Your last statement seems like ur trying to impress me. I'm flattered. I'm sure a porsche has more go beyond 140mph. so does my bike, so does my supra, so does a vette, so does a porsche...tell me something i don't know. duh.

time for my ricer *** to go to class now. CIAO.

I really hope you're not serious. It was a figure of speech, I apologize if you took it so seriously.

I think I am grown up enough to tell you the truth though. At least thats what my mommy says, thank you very much

And hide behind the computer screen? Please. The only big man around here is you, my friend

PNC arts? I have no clue where that is. I'm located in Bergen County, NJ. I'm only a few minutes from the George Washington Bridge. I rarely drive my supra right now, I'm just getting by in my beater...a 13 year old infiniti g20. It's PIMP! haha..so far from being pimp...

main problem I have with so-called ricers are the ones in hondahs who try to race ... my problem with them is that their cars are not safe at those speeds and endanger others, and typically they are too young to have much driving experience.

But as far as dressing up the car, etc ... how is that different than what many of us do on our Porsches? I am a Porsche ricer then
