Just thought I would jump in and introduce myself. I have been a loyal Mitsubishi Evolution owner for the past 6 years. I loved the car, and modding it was a blast! I just sold my Evo 10 and was ready to buy a new one when a friend of mine let me drive his 2005 911. I was instantly taken back by the rawness of the car, and had a lot of fun. Its hard to explain, but the Evo felt computer'ish, the 911 puts the driving more in your hands. I also liked the smell.
So, I picked up a very clean 2000 911 Cab with 57000 on the clock, with a clean PPI.

I am in your boat too - fairly new 911 owner as well. Awesome car but I always have to mod whatever I have. Here is mine.

 

So how long is the mod list?....you know it's going to be long and expensive if you stay on the board...it's never ending...

Benvenidos! I purchased my 99 P-car almost six months ago. You have defined the experience perfectly: Raw. I orginally had planned to use my P-car as a weekend driver, and my E55 AMG sedan which rides smooth as silk as my daily driver. The P-car wins every morning. These dang things are addicting. the mod bug on the evo was insane, hoping to mellow out, but already cruising the "parts for sale" section My suspension guy said, Oh yeah, I have 2 911's bring your in, lets see what we can do. Crap....
