Question Sunroof Felt?

Does anyone know a good way to remove the lint that forms
on the felt that surrounds the sunroof? This seems to be an
annoyance! Any guidance on removal would be appreciated!

Have you tried using Sticky Tape (eg 3M Magic Tape etc) - The stickier the tape the better.

I picked up this trick from my wife when I used to get pet hair/fluff/lint etc on some of my clothes etc..

Just apply a length of tape over the surface and then remove - the fluff/lint etc sticks more to the tape and when the tape is removed, it pulls the lint/fluff off with it....

I do the same!!!
Another trick is right after washing and while the felt is still wet, try rubbing your finger in on it and the lint should come off nicely...

I use waffle towels for drying the car. After the car's dry and the towel's wet, it does a good job removing any lint by simply teasing it along the felt with your finger. The waffle towels are good as they don't shed lint themselves. I think the secret is to get it when the felt is wet and the lint has less of a hold. Sticky tape sounds like a good idea but I'd assume only when the felt is dry.

Thanks. I will have to give it a try. I had thought about the tape but was worried about getting adhesive embedded in the felt. I
also had thought about using a toothbrush but was worried about scratches!

I use a small 4 " wide roller lint brush with the tear off sheets that you can find in any Target -type store.
