Nice piece. Looking forward (sort of) to when our hearts break in part 2. But Bullet Racing just picked up a brand new Cup Car and we're looking to make up for Daytona with the rest of this years in ALMS.

Regards,

Matt

Turns out my wife and I are in both those videos. If you look closely at Brian as he walks out onto the grid, we're over his shoulder. We're one of Bullet's sponsors. We're in black Bullet Racing shirts, like the rest of the crew, but wearing our GT logo hats.

Is that you in the khaki pants and black hat? I was just a few feet behind you.

Yep, that's me.

I was there in the pits all night until Steve pulled the plug on the race with the broken gearbox. I'm just glad is was one of Holinger's gears and not one of my parts that was in there that broke...

I was just gonna say maybe you won't like Part 3 then if it was your gearbox jk. Well you spilled the beans on the big drama of Part 3 so I guess we need to post it soon!

BTW, I really like your series, regardless of my personal involvement with the vehicle and event. I think it's really well done and present Brian very well as both a serious racecar driver and a down to earth person. I don't know him at all and don't even remember if I met him at the race or not. But after having seen this, if he's driving for Bullet later this year when I meet up with them at some of the ALMS events with their new Cup Car I will be sure to introduce myself and say hello.

Regards,

Matt

Thanks for the feedback Matt. I'm glad people enjoyed watching and that it gives you the right impression of Brian. Be sure to introduce yourself next time you see him at the track as I know he would appreciate it.

Will post part 3 shortly.

They are doing exceptionally well this year, but such a sad ending. Hopefully, the maple leaf will come back strong next year.

They're not done. Just last weekend, Bullet took delivery of a shiny new body in white 2011 Cup Car to run in ALMS and Carrera Cup Canada. It will be getting wrapped soon, and we're hoping to see them make their debut with the car at Miller Motorsports Park on the 29th-30th of this month. They are also running it at all 3 Carrera Cup Canada events this year, including in advance of the F1 race at Montreal later this Summer.

Hopefully Steve will even find a way to steal Brian away from Alex Job for a couple of events.
