You will notice the GT3 comes with the front fender already rolled.

GT3 Wheels are Fronts 8.5X18 ET40 Rears 11X18 ET63 and tire sizes I run are 245/40/18 and 295/30/18

Also, my Stock H track car is very low. I did roll the fronts but not the rear fenders. Needless to say the negative camber is much more severe on that car. CCW wheels using the exact same size and offset of the GT3 wheels

As Strat10 shows issues with rubbing and having the need to cut the fender is because the offset is too low. The lower the number the farther out the wheel will sit. Move that same wheel to a 63 and it will tuck nicely.
sorry for the silly question but i have a set of 19x10 currently installed on 00 C2 996, not sure what the offset is but i presume i cannot change the offset on the wheel itself correct? I would have to buy another set with the correct offset to ensure they tuck in properly? currently it looks like i may have to get the fenders rolled..

you can also play with the camber to tuck the top of the tire in the fender.

I'd say stick with 18's. You can go to 11" wide with the GT3 offset of 63mm and not have any rubbing. The 19's bring in all kinds of issues with these cars.
