If you're running factory size 18's, you shouldn't be rubbing with that offset. Are you running 19's with 997 tires?

from those views, i cant really tell if it will rub.
try a rear quarter panel view, like this thread:
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...new-shoes.html
he had 11" rims w/ 55 offset and his rear quarter panel shows the rims sticking out a smidge.
i'm surprised from your views that 45 offset doesn't stick out more.

i'm glad its working for you though.

It does not rub currently, the question is how low I can before it will. I guess it also depends on how stiff my suspension stays. There is definetly a point it will start rubbing as it sticks out approx 5mm.

Point is, people were telling me TT wheels would not fit on a narrow body, and on a stock car they fit just fine. Just wanted to let people know.

Ive been through all this.Your not rubbing because you are running 18's and it looks like you have plenty of clearance. (Your car looks high to me) Remember, when your suspension compresses, the wheel tilts in. The one thing I will say is that unless you remove the spring and the stop and see if you really have clearance you will never really know. (I found this out the hard way!) A very hard left turn, slight dip, and poof, there went my tire.

I am running 51 offset with 19's and they rubbed really bad. I had to modify my camber, roll my fenders, and make a slight adjustment to the body in the fender wells.

Was it worth it? well, I wouldnt do it again, but now that its done, I love the look!

Good luck!

What size tires are you running 285 or 295? My 285 have a slight stretch so that might help, like you said, the camber will help, I wonder if I can add more without affecting the handling too much. I ordered a fender roller, hopefully that will help a bit also. I may try your idea before I order some springs.

I agree, car sits too high, besides for that, I love the stance of the wide wheels. It drivers perfect now I am tempted to leave it but just a little to high. Do you guys now anybody that makes a good coilover for our cars so I can lower it just enough before I run into problems? If I just get some springs and they rub, I am stuck with it.
