the conversion has started!

Well, I have enlisted the C4S into the shop today to start with the mods. I have already installed a short throw shifter, smoked clear corners, and "red" S's on the rear emblem and centercaps. Now, I am doing the following:

I took you guys advice and am installing PSE with switch.
I went against the grain and am installing H and R springs just to cut down cost. I will only have this car a few more months.
I am getting the front and side skirts, also rear bumperettes painted seal grey.
I am shipping out the DME to california to a family friend, who is then reflashing for me.

Havent decided on the wheels yet, but I guess i will just "go wth the flow"

I will post pictures as soon as she is done, which will be Wednesday morning.

That is definitely bizarre to do mods that you usually never get your money back on and potentially lowers the resale value knowing you are going to sell the car soon.

If you have money, then why would you try to save money on the springs and not get the more expensive PSS9?

I'd rather get a second car then keep on modding the car and sell it again, not worth the time and money.

Since his family owns a Porsche dealership I'm assuming these are just demo cars you have...and thus will have no problem finding a sucker who will pay for the mods when you sell the car in a few months?

well it is simple:

PSE- swapped off of a car, guy didnt want it= FREE
paint work- friend paints= FREE
DME- friend flashes= FREE
springs- a whopping 230 dollars versus 2000 dollars for coilovers which I never would get proper use out of anyways.
Passport SRX= FREEswapping it out of my truck.
Wheels= trading in my BBS RXii's when I decide on wheels

therefore, like $3-4K in mods for $230.00. You guys tell me if I am throwing away money- I think not.
