Can you tell what this is? Should I worry?
Hi everybody,
I saw this this morning when I pulled my car out of the garage. Can anyone tell what the black spots are? The water I believe is from the ac, but I don't know what the black dots are.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Adrian

Without being there, I have to ask.
The area where your seeing these black spots what is directly over it Transmission/Engine?
Oil would be my first guess but that is a lot of it, how long has the car been sitting still?

Additional info
The spotting is towards the front of the car, right under the gear box. The big stain I believe is water from the ac, I believe.
The oil level is fine, and the oil is still nice and yellow.
I just went and checked my garage and the water is gone, but the dots remain. I currently live in Norway, but the car is in my place in Houston. The car sat for 10 days between the last time I drove it and this morning when I noticed the spots; I have to say it's been hotter than hell in Houston.
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Oh well, I knew the risks when I bought it. I appreciate the feedback.
So, what is the next step? Does anyone know a reliable shop in north Houston that can take care of this?
Again, thank you.

You can use this guy. I have known Terry for 15+ years. I take mine there for oil changes and when I had to do my brake fluid.

Several members of the local Porsche Owner's club recommend European Auto Techniks which is off Rankin (just north of the intersection of the North Beltway and I-45).
I've used this shop once (only because I do most of my own work on my cars) and was very impressed with their honesty, knowledge and reasonable price for the work performed. I will not hesitate to take my P-car to them again.
Good luck.
