Smile Mobil 1 on Sale

NAPA Auto has all grades of Mobil 1 full synthetic on sale for less than $6 per quart. At least that's the case in the Houston area, where I stocked up on 0W40 this afternoon. Sale is slated to last for all of September.

If Mobil 1 is your P-car's motor oil flavor, NAPA's sale price is a killer deal.

Peterpokerplane is infamous around these parts
It's been several months, but I stocked up on various types of Mobil 1 full synthetic at Wal-Mart in the Arlington/Fort Worth area. I forget the exact price, but I believe it was either $22 or $23 for the 5 quart jug. I'll have to double check the prices when I'm there next time. I'm pretty sure it was their regular price and not a sale or promotion.

Good price. Wally world has them for $6.50 every day price. Found this out after I just bought some at autozone for $9+.

Pepboys and AutoZone will run cheaper than that. I think I paid $4.99 or less the last time it was on sale. In Houston also.

For 0W40? I've never seen the 0w40 for that low including a recent Pepboy's sales flyer that had Mobil 1 - 5 pack including Mobil 1 oil filter for $35.

Well damn, it looks like we should all be waiting until those days. Also you live in Tx which is big oil so maybe your sales are different than the ones around here?

When you go to either site, you do have to input your zip to get the "local" deals.

Chicago does have the highest gas prices, I wouldn't be surprised if there is also excessive tax on oil in addition to gas...
