Slip and ran into the curb when trying to negotiate a sharp left turn. Major wheel and suspension damage plus some body panel damage. Insurance will take it to their body shop but is giving me a choice to go with my own repair shop. Can anyone please recommend a body shop in the Pasadena area. Any comments on dealing with bodyshops or insurance company is greatly appreciated.

Don't know anyone around Pasadena, but if you're willing to go to Camarillo I would take it to Kudensport (talk to Ed), that's the only body shop I can recommend. Everyone else I've dealt with in the LA area over the past 10 years is a scam artist. Good luck!

I really like Marco's Auto Body in San Gabriel. They are not cheap, but since insurance is handling it, it shouldn't matter. Penske Mercedes was sending all there cars there a long time ago...that's how we found them.

I don't have much credit on this forum yet, but perhaps you can trust me regardless. Go to Holmes Body Shop on Colorado Blvd. Ask for Mike Chester and tell him that Trombley referred you. They do exceptional work and both Mike and the manager, Steve Morris, are college friends of mine. Had lots of work done by them and it always turned out beautifully. Sorry about your car.

I've used two different shops in Pasadena. Bells and Vaughn on Allen and Hammin Auto Body (VW dealer uses them). B&V did a complete repaint on my buddies '83 SC and came out flawless.

Thanks all. My car has been towed to Marco's in Pasadena. They will do a teardown to determine the extend of the damage. I will share my experience with Marco's when the car is fixed. Thanks again.

Great choice! Marco's is certified by PCNA (North Fair Oak). Brian or Patrick will take good care of you.

I am sure Marco's will do a great job. However my car is a total loss. I will be back. Once a Porsche guy always a Porsche guy.
