Complete new sound system
I replaced the front and rear speakers with JL Audio C2-400X's. I made a custom box that blends right in behind the rear seats with a 2ohm Rockford Fosgate 8" sub powered by a PPI 400 watt 2 channel amp. The head unit is a Sony DSX-S300BTM. It's a digital receiver that has a tune tray that keeps the iPod inside it and has bluetooth. The door speakers are now Kicker KS 525's and there is a new Rockford Fosgate Prime 300 watt 4 channel amp that powers it. The door and dash speakers are together and the rears are separate.
The best part is I did it all myself thanks to the wiring diagrams I found on Rennlist.
It sounds unreal, loud/crystal clear sound out of the dash and rears, nice deep full range out of the doors and unbelievable full deep bass from that sub configuration I built.
I'm amazed I pulled this off and didn't granade anything. I had a wine coming from the rears, I ended up lowering the gain and added a filter on the rear RCA's before they plugged into the amp.
