Need 996 Engine Rebuild in Dallas

My engine failed due to Valve Pin failure. As we know Porsche says new engine and cost of $25K. Are you kidding me?? So, I am looking for suggestions as to engine rebuild with additional mods.

Do you know of any shops in Dallas, Texas?

I appreciate your post

It wasn't a rebuild but RAC did my engine replacement for me and they would be the only shop I would talk to about a rebuild. Contact Hans and he will talk to you about the cost. They are a very honest and reputable shop.

Mine has 62k miles. There was not a warning that I could tell, so I'm thinking a bearing blew up. Don't have the cause of death back yet

Just got the final diagnostics.... On the left side, the timing chain failed in one spot, and was about to fail in another... Bent valves and rework the head...intermediate shaft bearing is okay... Replacing the right side chain and main seal while it's down...just in case... I think I'm the 1 in a million that the timing chain would fail at 62k after owning the vehicle for 4 days! No way to prebuy the chain!! The 996 engine is very simple... So reliability shouldn't be a factor with good maintenance. I just got "unlucky"
