Wheels spacer people, chime in.

So i just received a set of spacers for my 996 targa: 7mm front and 15mm rear. I have been a fan of spacers for a long time, and over that time span i have gained an experience of acquiring spacers with a "lip" or hub centric. To my amazement , the local vendor , which makes spacers in USA, does not include that lip on the 7mm spacers. I kind of am worrying already. I havent checked my car yet, but does our hub sticks out enough to still have that lip even after I install these spacers onto front hubs?

If I remember correctly, the hub is longer than 7mm so its ok with factory wheels.

Generally most spacers close to 5mm will not have a lip. I'm running ones without the lip and it's been fine up to 140.

Only thing I wish my spacers had are the set screws to prevent your spacers from moving. The spacers I got for the bmw have this

You can probably drill a hole with a cone drill and secure it with a cone screw.

I have thought about doing that actually. Probably won't happen until the next time I try to take off my rims and ***** as I try to put them back on...

I have the same spacers as Mamut, no problems here up to 150. Everything is still good and tight with no mounting issues whatsoever.
