Automated car washes are not recommended for cabriolets.

Automatic car washes aren't for Porsches...but they are fine for my wife's Honda!

Since I live in the Northeast, I shut my outside water off for the winter. When my cab gets dirty/salty, I take it to a DIY car wash nearby. I don't use soap, I just rinse it off the best I can and then dry it with a microfiber cloth. Of course I have to wait until the temperature is above freezing, and even then it's not really much fun.

Beautiful AZ day yesterday. Good bath followed by a complete interior detail then....the wax job with Meguiar's new Tech Wax 2.0. Looks like melted glass. Even the wife was impressed.

And of course today it rained.

I usually go to the handwash in tysons next to golfdome when im in a rush. But if you have a few hrs to kill...drop the car off at either tysons 1 or 2 malls at Pronto Wash.

DR. Wash in Centreville is supposed to be good...offers hand washing. Know some buddies who have them wash their cars.
