Question Full paint job

My 996 is gray but i saw some pictures from a website same model "silk gray" so i was thinking now if there is a difference between gray or silk gray, can i just get a full clear code and make it like that?!?

I've never heard of an OEM color called "silk grey". The most common OEM grey is "Seal Grey".

Perhaps silk grey is a custom color...

You are right ! i guess this picture is touched alot..but there is two different color on porsche 911 one is SEAL GRAY and SLATE GRAY which both look nice,i dunno my car is at the bodyshop and is getting repair on the body, my original color is seal gray and i will end up getting a full paint which will be gray seal since it will save me alot to not paint inside just outside body then slate gray in and out..you guys think a thicker clear coat or something can make the color a bit darker once my paint job is done??

Have you considered a wrap? There are many cool options available, including a matte grey that looks very good.

yes but i have a body repair for on the back so it needs paint job after thats why i was thinking to get it close to the color on picture but today i found out the color on picture is going to be so much different from my OEM color(seal gray) and that will bring the value down so i have to stay on original paint i guess...

What is a good price for a paint job, including 2 or 3 ding repairs?
