New LED side markers.

These are pretty cool, just don't like that the LED's are amber.

MerlinsGhost is infamous around these parts
I'm sure they'll make the clear here soon. Hopefully with a white light and not blue.

Amber side markers are required.

(From Wikipedia)
Side marker lights and reflectors

In North America, amber front and red rear side marker lamps and retroreflectors are required. The law initially required lights and/or retroreflectors on vehicles made after 1 January 1968. This was amended to require lights and retroreflectors on vehicles made after 1 January 1970.[

As wyovino noted above, all "clear" side markers need to have amber bulbs -- just they way they come now.

This product replaces the amber bulbs with amber LEDs -- but leaves the clear lens. Seems like an exact LED replacement for the aftermarket "clear" side markers that people have been putting on their cars.

I don't see the problem. If you use a clear bulb with a clear marker -- that's grounds for a ticket (as well as confusing other drivers, making you at fault in an accident).

It has 6 bulbs per side, that's too much, looks not clean.
