Just Drove The F430 - WOW ! DAM !

My Friend just picked up his F430 yesterday, He quickly called me to test drive the car (I let him use my Targa at times) All I can say is WOW!, DAM! word seem to escape me, He ordered it with a 6 speed manual. What a looker, I love My P-Car, but this baby is on a completely different playing field. The handling, braking and engine sound, reminded me of my brothers GSRX Super Bike. Now I see the car daily, It puts a smile on my face, I know I will be able to borrow it, from time to time. I promised myself, the only car I would get other than a Porsche is a Ferrari, looking forward to my retirement.

Congrats to your friend and to you. I figure I might be able to swing a 2005 f430 in 2020. If I am still here.

Did he pay sticker? I'm waiting to see if I can get on the list for an F430 Spyder.

I saw a black one on Ventura Blvd near Topanga Cyn. I was in the RS6 with 100 octane. I tried to get him to bite, but I guess he was still breaking in the engine. It was a beautiful car. I guess if I were him, I wouldn't be wasting my gas on an Audi either.

"the only car I would get other than a Porsche is a Ferrari"

I thought the same....til I bought a Lambo - more unique IMO

I have a deposit for a 430 spider but am thinking of moving it to a G spider

That G spider should be a pretty cool (even if too heavy and AWD) car while the new Ferrari SL430 is not too exciting to drive.
