Delirium,
The Pitlane price is $573 delivered to LA. From other threads, I believe there is also about a $20 customs fee which would make the total $593.
Revolution price is $550-575 (depending on group buy size) + 8.25% tax + $20 shipping = $615-642.
So for us Cali guys, it's only $22-49 to get a 6 month warranty and not have to worry about annoying costs and inconvenience of sending back a damaged or defective part to Bulgaria, where Pitlane is based. So to me, this small additional cost is TOTALLY worth it! For the non-Cali guys, Revolution is a no-brainer.

Update: Pitlane price is actually $635 delivered to LA. Just checked their website and they've raised the price by $62 in past month and a half.
So, their price is roughly equivalent to Revolution's without the domestic retailer advantages. Non-Cali peeps of course would save a bundle on taxes with Revolution.

If you're on Facebook, "like" Revolution Motorsports. they are planning on doing a group buy most likely in July. They said they will announce it on their Facebook page when their stock comes in.

cool, thanks... I just "liked" them., haven't done a group buy on FB before., but I'm assuming after they announce them they will provide instructions - or someone here will give a heads up?

Revolution Motorsports group buy update: according to their facebook, the price has now been set at $575 for 10+ orders and $550 for 15+. Judging by the comments, they already have 10+ and should hit the 15+ mark soon.

They need your name, address, and phone to reserve a set. I'm gonna call them first thing in the morning to get on the list before this batch sells out...

UPDATE: **NOTE**: One week post-Dectane 997.2 install I'm getting a rapid indicator on the dash AND exterior of car so going to have to swap in an LED flasher unit relay [part #CF13GL-02] I gather this should resolve the problem. Ordered one from superbrightleds for $12.95, also ordered a couple tail light load resistor kits in case of more issues. Less than $20 bucks of additional outlay, but I have to confess it's kind of irritating.

No bulbs out. I've learned that the LED lights, even dozens of them, don't draw nearly the same power as the old incandescent bulbs they replaced, so OEM flasher relay thinks there are bulbs out and goes to hyper flash mode to let me know. The cure should be a new flasher relay and/or drilling some resistors to bodywork behind the lights. I'm going to try the $12 new LED flasher relay first! ;-) Hopefully that resolves.
I've also noticed (upon very close scrutiny) that the Dectane LED 997.2 give off an ever so slight humming noise from the rear. Not objectionable noise and pretty quiet, but it's there. Would be curious if other adopters have noticed that.

I had zero probs until a few days post-install. All I can surmise is that regular day to day driving on my 1999 fried whatever indicator resistors they came with. Perhaps humidity did it, I don't know. The experiment continues...

It does seem strange because even the other lights (non-Dectanes) work on MK-I cars without any resistors. You may have a faulty fixture. Hopefully the new flasher will fix the problem.
