Talking It's official I own a 996!

Well guys after 2 almost three years of owning a very special Highly modified 968 (www.968s.com). I have made the plunge for a gorgeous 996 C2! Contracts were signed, notarized and sent overnight this afternoon...Transporter picks her up on Friday...12-14 days she will be in my garage! My excitement is overwhelming! I have not told the other half as I want her to open the garage to see my new baby... She is going to flip!(in a good way as she is a car nut like me)

2001 Arctic Silver/on Black (FLAWLESS)
27K miles
Aero Kit w/rear bumper fins - the rear spoiler
PSM (Porsche Stability Management)
Design Package
-Door sills with 'Carrera' logo
-aluminum-look instrument dials
-Stainless steel exhaust pipes
-Rear center console in Arctic Silver
-Shifter and handbrake lever with aluminum inlay
Embossed Head Rest Crests
Three Spoke steering Wheel
Head Rest embossed Crests
Heated Seats (Important in So. Cal!)
18" Turbo Twists w/color crests
2 other Exclusive options I could not read from the window sticker...

What's in store:
PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) Sitting in my Garage begging to be installed
2004 GT3 Wing (Wicked Sweet!)
ROW M030
TechArt Black GT 18" wheels (Twists will go on Ebay soon)
B&M Short Shift Kit
Litronic Headlights
Clear side repeaters
Traffic Pro Navigation System
Rennline Alum. Pedals (sitting in my Garage)
3M film for the Front
Color coded bumperettes (Eric @ Bumperplugs.com)
Lidatek Jammer
Hardwire V1
Garage door opener wired to console switch
Hard wire V60 w/Techart Console

...& lots of time on the road! Daily driver!!!

Knowing my severe modification problem these will be completed within a month! Here are some of the pic's I have so far...

Wow, congrats! That's quite a list of mods you've got there. That's going to be an incredible car when you're done.

I just got my first Porsche, so I'm still thrilled with it bone stock. Maybe next year I'll start looking around for little improvements.

Very Nice!! Congrats on your new purchase.. Modaholics class starts every Friday at 8AM I'm still in denial that I have a problem May I also make some MOD suggestions for you....
Painted Bumperettes would complete the rear end nicely... Don't forget to buy 2 Door Plugs from Eric.. one for the Drivers door, and one for the lock in the center console. Of course a Silver Hood Crest is needed to match your silver 996.. I can go on.. but I will stop.. .

PS Also get rid of the cassette storage and get the empty bin.. unless of course your a Cassette kinda guy

Guys, here I was thinking it would be at least a year before I spent any money on this car and now you're putting all these ideas in my head. And I'm still in my first week of ownership.

Hmmm.....
