My new Wheels

Thanks to Wheel Dynamics for hooking me up with a sweet set of wheels. They are the nicest wheels I've ever bought for myself. 19" Iforged Daytonas with a 4" lip. I'm old school and always liked the lip.

It's a shame us lip lovers have to refer to ourselves as old school.
Well, I love shiny lips and make no apologies for it. Wheels with lips look more custom than wheels without lips. When I spend big bucks I want custom looks.

Looks great! Enjoy the heck out of the wheels.

I have Eibach lowering springs on the way but am contemplating installing them. In Austin, the roads are OK but not the greatest. I'm 50/50 on installation between clearance or if it's ok the way it is.

It looks ok at stock height and if ok is good enough for you then leave it as is.

When I started hanging out with other enthusiasts in 2002, my car was not lowered. They needled me something awful. Being hard headed I refused. I hate to succumb to peer pressure and usually will stop associating with anyone who doesn't stop bothering me when asked. Then I found clublexus.com. I saw all the hottest cvars looked that way because they were lowered. Then I saw pics of mine looking like a 4x4. I gave in and haven't looked back.

Do it!

Love that rear lip but what offset is that and how wide in the rear?

It seems like there is a slight bit of Euro poke going on...

I got my new springs in. Local shop quoted me 420.00 for install. Hopefully I won't experience any rub or crazy tire wear. But I think it will look pretty good afterwards.

The wheels look awesome. Your going to love them even more once you take up that wheel gap. Every car I have owned since I got my license has been lowered and I have owned a lot of cars. I think wheel gap is the ugliest thing. You can have the nicest wheels and paint but, if there is wheel gap it just throws the whole look off. I will drive lowered cars till the day I die.

Wheels give a car a nice look, wheels and lowered is a whole new look. Changes the whole look of a car if u ask me. Congrats on the new wheels, they look awesome on your car.

P.s. sorry for the double post, I'm on my phone and it likes to send things even when I'm not ready to.

Daytona's style wheels are one of the best, I have a set for my MB and love that style, looks great on the Porsche as well.
