Tire Size

Is 305/25-20 too wide and too low on my Porsche?

In order to tell you we would have to know the actual wheel size. What size tire do you currently have on you car? I don't think I'd go to 20 though, 19 would be what I'd move into from my current 18's.

I bought the car like that it has 20's and thats the size in the back (305/25-20). Sometimes when I come to a stop I smell rubber not sure if its from rubbing on the inside or when it scrapes the quarters.

Nice looking car, if it's rubbing on the fender you will notice a wear pattern on the tire. But with the rubber smell my guess is, yes it's rubbing the fender. 20's are BIG.

Burning rubber is a pretty common smell for the 996, especially after a spirited drive. Many people believe it's from small rubber particles getting kicked up and hitting the hot mufflers behind the rear tires.
