New Guy

Decided to buy a 2000 911 cab. an hour ago. I guess it will be a week or so until I see it since I have to wait on shipping.

That the one I bought. Looking forward to learning from you guys. Car needs some window tint. Other than that, I like the pictures anyways. LOL

Nice cab, very updated with those wheels and I like the cf accents! Did the dealer say anything about the RMS or IMS being done? I'm guessing that unless you see any oil leaks or metal shavings in the filter, you are probably good to go for now.

Thanks for the compliment. Honestly I don't even know what that is. I just decided on a whim to buy it. I'm literally in foreign territory. I just sold my 2011 1000 rwhp twin turbo 2011 Camaro. I'm pretty handy with a wrench (I have a nice shop with a lift), but I have never even sat in a Porsche. The mileage was right and I obviously did not pay the asking price. I don't know a damn thing about my new car. LOL

Nice you're a boost junky just like myself The IMS & RMS are some preventative maintenance items to look out for. They should be easy as you have a shop.

I'm considering a C4 for a daily so I like to see feedback from new P owners

I bought this one good enough to get back out of in a year. I'll be playing the boost game again soon, just going to see if I like Porsche first. I needed a cheap daily driver. I just sold all my toys. Getting a new business off the ground.

Good choice, let me know what you think of the Porsche as a driver after you get accustomed to it. I drove a friends C2 and the steering/handling is second to none.
I'm working on a couple businesses too, one is local and the Porsche should fit the bill as a presentable "go to meeting" vehicle. I'm keeping my Supra but selling the Stealth in hopes of jumping into a C4.
