yo sharky,

hehehe, still kicking the idea around even though i have 75K on the odo . hmmm should i sell the motons and a set of wheels and get a SC instead?

i do remember the blue cab w/ brembo brakes and roll bar (does he frequent the boards?). sheeooot, you guys should know, you've done a tone of SC installs. just trying to get a bigger sample that's all. robyn, kirby, pixrken, blue cab dude, porshce phd's trackie....

hell, i am having it smogged right? it'll be another 2 years before i have to do it again

laters
You're outta control. Yeah we did a whole bunch (it's a blur). There was a black cab, a silver cab, a seal grey cab (**** they were all cabs?) and a few more I don't remember? I've driven Todd's one too for a bit and I really do like them in terms of the power and how it drives. With the light weight flywheel, the revs will drop even faster so you're ready in that department!

He doesn't frequent the boards- he's not into it but he tracks non-stop and I could give you his Email so you two could chat, swap stories etc...

If you sell those Motons I swear I will X$M#$#NS<S....

After you smog it, you're golden for another 2 years!

75K on the odo... well we've put them on cars with 50k on the odo already so I think you're ok

Do you loose anything when a SC is installed? - For instance, can I keep my air conditioning intact and everything else as well?

On the 3.4 they tyically make 415-420 crank HP. I have dyno sheets around here on our Mustang Dyno. They are more conservative as far as numbers. I can fax those if you would like.

The 3.6 car make about 440HP.
i was looking for 0-60 and quarter miles times if you have them. thanks.

Too many variable in those times, such as weather, tires, driver, etc. No Porsche will be as fast in the 1/4 miles as a straight axle with the same HP. but it is fast for the type of car it is and will continue going, and going and going after the trap.

Exactly right.. depending upon conditions, tires, gas the driver etc.. my car runs 10.9 to 11.3 1/4mile times. Just depends on so much stuff....

it'd still be nice to see some before and after numbers, even if they're not perfect. it's one thing on a tt when you're going from 13's to 11's, but it would be dissapointing to spend 12k and only drop a half second or so.

I dropped a full second on my quarter mile with the SC on my Gtech pro but that was at 5000 feet elevation and all wheel drive horrible trap times. I also had the wrong MAF in at the time and my intercooler was plugged up. I now have much more power and a smooth acceleration curve but I will not drop the hammer on my new clutch and lightweight flywheel. Third gear is where I find the SC just screams. If you redline in third you are going too fast. Will
