Hey Tarzan, that's my exact thought. Though I saw from previous threads on this forum that mk2 has larger fender clearance than mk1. I am just as confused

Fender clearance maybe. But if the liners are the same which I think there are, front wheels will rub at full lock. Has nothing to do with fender clearance. Look at my pics.

Hmmm, I've been running 14mm front and haven't noticed anything. Now this peaks my curiosity to do a visual check...

I really want to be wrong. I'd love to. So I can put my 15 mm back

No not yet but thanks for the reminder. My car is currently broken at the moment(submerged alarm brain module) but that doesn't prevent me from turning my wheels.

Just received the spacers yesterday. Can't wait to get them on.

Thanks

Ok, managed to get 15mm on front with no rubbing. At full lock, i could slide a paper receipt. That close. But that is at full lock which you just do u-turns at most. I did use a heat gun to push the inner wells. It really works and very easy. From 1 to 10 in difficulty, is a 2.

I followed this
. Used a hammer like he does. That took care of it very quickly.

Now I have 15mm Techart spacers on front and on rear.
