It's for sale near me for a reasonable price and I'm thinking about getting it. Totally rebuilt engine not too long ago, along with a bunch of other stuff. It would be a 2nd / fun car (I have a new F150 + my GF has an ES330 for dates and stuff).

What do you guys think? Pretty cool classic in really good shape as far as I can tell.

BTW: I couldn't post this in the normal 911 section, but I wanted to get you guys opinion on it, since you know way more about porsche's than I do. Hopefully I posted it right, because I can't reply or edit my posts yet, either.

It _looks_ like it's in good nick but be sure to have it checked out. Repairs aren't cheap on them but if it's a good one then it'll run forever....

Not cheap to fix like what Sharky says. But looks good, got heat exhangers, carrera tensioners looks like it will last you a long time but drive it all the time, dont let it sit, If you buy this you'll be a porschaholic

Looks nice, would you mind telling us what they are asking for it? You may be coming pretty close in price to SC's. If its more than $8-9k you should maybe look at 78-82 SC's. The 3.0 is a bulletproof motor and the Carrera flares always give it a nice look. Good luck either way. This car looks really clean.
Later,
Luis

i drove one of those about a year ago. nice cars.
it was exactly the same color but and had a rebuild 3.2 motor.
the interior was a little bit old style for me but i can dig it.

check it out before you buy, any car - a PPI is a must.

it looks nice but id go for something a bit newer with the 3.2 in it. so far i havent had any major problems with my car and its pretty nice. its peppy handels good and looks good. the only down side is repairs, i am spending 3 grand to get my clutch replaced.
