18" wheel choices

OK
I'm sure this has been discussed on numerous occasions, but please humour me.
Looking for 18" wheel suggestions for my Arctic Silver 2002 C4S

I'm interested in 18", lighter than stock, preferably forged

I have a soft spot for BBS mesh style wheels, so right now LMs are looking good, but I'm not sure of their weight or if they look decent on the car (beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I know)

Anyhow, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, photos would be fantastic, so lets hear what you have, what you like...

Thanks in advance

If LMs are in your budget, then I would take a close look at Champion and GMG for their wheels as they are very light and look incredible. Can't do much better than LMs if you ask me...

IMHO the original Turbo Twist looks best on the C 4S. Understated, elegant And easy to clean.

I need to get a second set because the car is winter driven
Winters go on the stock wheels, for summer I'm looking for aftermarket - lighter - wheels

Go over the TT forum and search for a thread titled "Best looking wheels" and you will get tons of ideas...

C4S Fronts are 25.3lbs
C4S rears are 32lbs

not the lightest

Hollow spokes for Turbo and GT2 are better

BBS LM's are one of the sexiest wheels IMO. But with that said, they aren't the lightest that BBS makes and they are definitely played out these days with way too many knock-off's that can be seen on even Honda's. The flatter spoke pattern, although looks great, also can restrict certain Big Brakes from being used(shouldn't be a concern on our cars though).

My BBS RS-GT's are lighter than the LM's but I'm not too fond of the wheel bolts and the less flat spokes compared to the LM's.

I've recently picked up some Champion RG5's that I'll be running this summer. You can't beat 37lbs for wheel/tire combo for 19's.

If you have BBS LM budget, I would seriously consider the Champion line of Forged wheels.

What about RG-Rs
Are they available in 18" 996 C4S/Turbo fitment?

I do like the look of the Champion wheels though, thanks for the input
Are they available in 18"?
How do yjry compare $$ wise?

I guess I should just check their site

Thanks again

BBS has severely cut down on their RGR's production and is only available to certain fitments now(I'm assuming left overs).

I have the RGR's on my wife's BMW and have first witnessed the strength of a good quality forged wheel. She got hit sideways at 35mph, broke the entire rear suspension and trailing arm. Wheel had a slight dime sized ding on the lip but otherwise was straight and balanced out. Thank God as they don't sell those anymore for her car.

You can expect to pay between $3k-4k for the wheels(18" and 19"). Occasionally they do popup on eBay for a bit less so you might want to check there too.
