That seems like a good deal, did these kits come down a lot lately?
Porsche in Germany put the rear spoilers on a fire sale about a month ago so I can only assume that the rest of the kit is on sale as well.
If you figure the break down is:
$1500 rear spoiler
$600 side skirts
$700 front spoiler
that's an excellent deal - only wish i had waited. would've saved me some bones for other junk

this is a great deal, I paid much more for the parts not to long ago and I have a replica rear wing.
Really wish this deal was around a year ago when I started the aerokit conversion at the time the factory spoiler was like 3k alone.

It's really rare for porsche to have a firesale on anything letalone a premium item like the GT3 cup rear spoiler.
Porsche is gearing up to have an inventory count... they have been pushing sales all summer.

DJ996......... I will see what the Aero kit 1 is selling for and see if porsche has any sale currently on it.

Ah... So it's about reducing parts inventory so their books look better, and since they are not producing 996 models any more they can't move them into production stock.... Very interesting....
Makes sense, they already reduced stock on it since they havn't made the MKI 996 in a while....
My guess is anything specific to the MKII 996 that is not used in the 997 would be at a "sale" price until inventory is reduced to the levels the "bean counters" say is correct for an out of production model.
