Hi all,

My name is Jared Gall, and I'm an editor at Car and Driver magazine. I'm trying to track down a pair of 911s for a story we're doing, and I'm hoping some forum members might be willing to help out. I'm looking for two cars, a naturally aspirated 996 coupe and a naturally aspirated 997 coupe. Lower mileage is preferable, and the cars need to be photogenic. We?d need the cars at our office in Ann Arbor Michigan for two days, one next week for driving and one the week of August 12 for a photo shoot. If you yourself can?t do it, I?d appreciate any leads to people who might be able to.

Unfortunately, yes. Mostly, at least. What sort of mods are we talking about?

 

suspension, wheels, exhaust, and a few misc things here and there like tint

 

We're looking for good representatives of the factory's efforts, so suspension work probably means it's a no-go. Sorry, but thanks much for asking!

 

I might be able to help with a 2001 C2 Cab with 27k miles. Engine and suspension are stock. Mods are Techart spoiler front/back/sides, 19" wheels, short shift, double din head unit and custom subs on rear floor. Car looks and drives like new. Let me know. I live close by.

 

I have a bone stock black on black '03 996 C2 with 43k miles. Very clean, I can send you photos and I live in Chicago. I have always been a huge fan of car and driver and would like to contribute. Let me know if I can be of help.
