cab top help ?

I have a very annoying rattle in my top at the windshield . The top actually slaps the window frame on rough roads. the roof latches ok . It is the centering journals on each end that are very loose . From searching , i found that they had a plastic part that was like a bushing to make everything tight , my car does not have this part in place . they are no longer made and cost less than a dollar each . They make a replacement part now that are 50 dollars each . I am not sure this will solve my issue . anyone have experience with problem area ?

I have the 99 C2 cab although right now I have the hard top in place, I am pretty certain that there is a plastic piece in each of the outside slots that accept the hard top. Under that plastic piece is a screw which can come loose and needs to be tightened up for a solid fit. In your case it appears someone has removed that part for some unknown reason or another. You will need that piece to stop the roof from moving. IMHO.
