On Sunday September 18th PCA Zone 7 and the Diablo Region hosted our annual Blackhawk Concours. We had over 100 cars with almost 50 entered in the competition.

Now that I am the Concours Chairman for the Zone, I don't show the car in the competitions. As you know, putting on one of these things does not give you anytime to clean anything. I'm lucky if I get a pee break!

The Orient Express was there, it was just stuffed in a corner!

Oh yeah it was nice meeting Jackson and his partner in crime. Both very nice and helpful. I knew his car was going to win for sure. Very nice indeed!

There we're a lot of nice cars there and most are super clean. Like squeaky clean. Impressive!

 

Congrats Dre! Next time we will drive out there the night before and pull an all nighter with some microfiber, 303 aerospace, a vaccum, and blitz!

 

Thanks Robyn and Mike! We went out there just for kicks. Since this was our first event, we didn't expect a win. At least, I didn't. There were lots of great looking cars out there. It's really hard to say one is better then the other. Personally, I think they're all winners.

Thanks for the picture, Gary! Great shot of all the winners cars. That was a great event you and the PCA put together. You guys did a knock out job! This was our first event and we enjoyed it. Especially meeting new friends and seeing all the great cars out there. Winning was just a bonus We're already in the process of preparing for the next event Looking forward to it.
