The 911 fob makes as a great accessory to any carrera key. (That is of course any 99 + 911 key).
Officially, it will work on '01 - '04.5. However for the '99, and '00, you will lose trunk release.

Can someone please give me the part number off of the key that you bought? I will pick one up but need that little part number.

Thank you,

Cool, I got the GT version right now and it looks pretty nice but I thought I might try the 911 look......

I just put the GT on last week so it's almost new. Anyone interested in this one if I just go with the 911 one or would anyone like the 911 version if I want to just keep the GT?

Angry

Well I was really happy last week when my new purchase came in .....a very small, very lite box with about 42 cents worth of plastic for $100 +...."still it looks great at the coffe shop" I justified to my very unhappy wife...."whatever makes you happy dear" she replied....Love that woman.

well on day six the porche crest fell off ....now it just looks like a 42 cent piece of plastic again...

Looks like is was held on by a little rubber cement...
Those of you that have the new fob may want to firm up that conection...

Noel...any chance you might have replacement crests around ?
