New 911 Key Head; Group Buy??

I was breezing through the weekly specials at Suncoast and spotted this new (to me anyway) key head. Looks similar to the CGT that some folks converted to last year.

Anyone interested in a group buy?

The price is $129 without talking to them about a group buy price. I will call tomorrow to see what Suncoast will do if we have enough interest

Very similar to the CGT keyfob. I guess they saw the demand for the CGT keyfob and figured it made sense to make a 911 version.

more info from website

Looks like it will NOT fiit a 99 (see below)

group pricing if available, later today

As an alternative to the standard keyhead, a "Design" key housing is now available.
By simply transferring your old key blade, circuit board, and transponder chip, you can upgrade to this new design. No reprogramming is necessary, it is a direct swap of the internal parts. The Design key is only available for keys with two-buttons (central locking system and front trunk lid), and features a flashing "911" in red.

This will fit a 2001-2004.5 Carrera 996 (except Targa).

This one look similar to the GT head. There is a good thread on Rennlist that is 100 pages long about the group buy and how to swap the guts out with your old key head. So you actually just swap the inside parts. 99-00 the trunk button will not work of course but the unlock button does. I would be interested in a Group Buy.

exactly you can swap it but you don't have any function for the other buttons.

I'm in as well. It'd be cool if they have it in CF material.

I'm in. Would be also cool if they had it available in a silver crest. But doubt it.
