Hey JPF, I also had an 89 CRX Si and a 330 but mine was a Ci. Both great cars. I'm on my first P-car now, 2002 C2.

I do like how the original person who said your car's grille is ugly has a totally stock car but as it always is to everyone.... to each his/her own. Here is my last car which is also red and from the VAG group

2004 VW R32. featured in Tuningwerks mag, many times in Eurpean car, Eurotuner

R32 shares the same platform as the 3.2L TT.

and my new 996

PJF, I also own a 225TT with mods before. TT is a car either lov it or hate it. Still thinking TT is one of the most beautiful car on the road. Nice ALMS TT you have. Upgrade from TT to 996C2 is good move. When you upgrade from 996C2 to porsche TT is great! enjoy!!

The 1.8 turbo in those cars is very tunable for a relatively reasonable amount of money. Less than $10K in mods gets you near 400 hp. As far as the grill goes, that is the most popular aftermarket grill from Germany for the TT. Oh well, to each his own. The main thing I was worried about buying the 996 was dealing with people like djantlive. They think that their views are everyone's and right. I hope there are not many like him on this forum. If so, I am starting to regret the decision already.
don't let people's attitudes and opinions on some forum sway your decision in purchasing a 911. yes you will come across plenty of opinionated characters here on the board, but for all of those poeple there are just as many who will offer constructive criticism and help when you request it.

as for the TT, i was never a fan of that car, so i must congratulate you on turning yours into a real head turner. i don't know why that guy didn't like your grill...i think its hot and goes very well w/ the black wheels. was it quick, or did you leave the 1.8T alone?

Speaking of list, what’s up with all that?

If I listed all of my past rides I would need a new page for each post……

Come on now….. “let them goâ€Â…..

Thanks for all of the great posts.

I look forward to being part of this forum. As far as my TT went, I had an APR chip and many other mods. The car was likely putting out anbout 285hp at the crank. It was waht I would call a quick car. Not fast, but definately quick.

You should have seen the grief I got for my gold TT exhaust tips, and I am still missing my left nut over the mudflaps. We see very few Audi TT's here and I have never seen a red one, very nice. Its all about the bling. But on this board I solved a mystery that no one else could as to why my tank would not take gas. No dealer or PCNA rep or aftermarked tuner knew and I found the answer on a search here. Hang in there. Will
