996 Muffler Mod - Two Bypass Pipe Scenario

In case anyone wondered what your exhaust sounds like with both the inlet/outlet bypass and the sport exhaust bypass done at the same time.

I am selling these over on the Classified forum but figured people here might want to see what they sound like. They are perfectly tame compared to straight pipes with no drone. But definitely louder than stock and even have some crackle and pop at start-up that goes away once they are warm.

Scored a good deal on Cargraphic Super Sports and wanted to try them out for a while . If the CGs are not to my liking I'll just put these back on. Assuming they are not sold by Saturday morning.

I'm going to add to the video with some of sound the engine makes on load and accelerating. And rev through the range. Just dropped price.

I have the same setup, and it does sound nice. Mellow, with a nice occassional snarl. Curious to hear your thoughts on the difference.

Thanks! I particularly like how it sounds on the highway when you run from 60-90 using 3 and 4. Once you stick it in 6th to cruise the noise is gone which is key.

I'm almost thinking of icing the sale until I have the Cargraphic installed and have tested them out. But I have another set of stock mufflers laying around that I can have modified if it comes to it.

A better video. This gives you full engine rev up to red line, take off and a quick fly by.

I have cargraphic mufflers, I can say that I bet you'll keep them... They are also lighter than stock so there's another reason to

Thanks Dan. Did you install them yourself? And do you have an 02+? Wondered how to get the OEM tips on. Looks like the CGs
have an extension. I have the mufflers on but haven't done the tips yet.

The PO had the Cargraphic mufflers installed, mines an '04 C2. It has aftermarket "racetune" tips that I cant find much info on. Could have sworn I read that you can use your original tips as one of their selling points??

On this ebay listing, says you can use your original tail pipes... Knew I had read that somewhere!

Thanks Dan. You can see on that picture the outlet pipe has an extension pipe on it. That pipe has some adjustment to it (increase/decrease length). I think once I install that extension my tips will reach.

Once I have it all buttoned up I will shoot another short film
