The car looks great. It must be nice to be able to order it with a GT3 style Aerokit and clear side markers!

I would have passed on the mods and instead bought one of those A Class MBs in the picture!

FYI

Car was ordered from factory with the Aerokit (includes front bumper, side skirts and wing)

Clear lenses and sidemarkers are standard from factory (not sure if you guys in the US get these or orange ones - maybe orange on the earlier 996 but clear on the facelifted versions? That's how we were getting them here in Australia)

I ordered the RHS steering wheel option so that I could get the ignition switch mounted on the RHS of the dash

PSE and X74 are being installed now and not from factory as I could not order the car from factory with these options - Issues with legality (car too low/noisy blah blah blah) etc so they are being fitted now as spare parts items by the dealer.

Will post more pics when on the road later this week - A few are curious as to the ride height with the X74 - stay tuned...

Oh and BTW thanks for the compliments...

I like the Carrera's as well but I prefer the Sport Technos more.

Also every 2nd 996 I see has either Carrera or Turbo rims...

ST's are still a little rare around these parts of the world for the time being.

ZX7R, Unfortunately here we do get the orange side markers, but they are a real cheap change to clear, as for your 996 once the X74 is fitted you should be at GT3 spec, going to look great, good luck with it.

I love the way your car looks!! Enjoy the sport technos. They are imho some of the nicest factory wheels ever produced. Funny how this forum has made many of us take perfectly good cars and make them even more perfectly good "moded" cars. Best wishes for years of enjoyment!!!
