Turn the ignition, click click click!!! Help.

This is a new one for me. Ive read several posts, but nothing for sure tells me this is the battery. Has anyone else had this issue, and if you have, what is it?

Just got tints on the car earlier this week and noticed that i may have lost connection, tho didnt need to reset radio. Clock was jacked.

Literally, i turn the key and all i hear is a bunch of clicks. Only strange thing was that the passenger window went up and down as if i was opening the door.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Happy Fathers Day!

Sounds like the folks in that shop played ur stereo a bit loud and a bit too long, guessing ur battery is low. Plug in ur Ctek battery charger immediately. It's the brand Porsche sells. I bought the Ctek 4.3 bundle. The one Porsche offers is 3. something amps.

If u don't have one, check out this deluxe kit bundle with the 4.3A charger with most everything u'll ever need. I'm really happy with mine.

There are others around, but this is the bundle i bought. http://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00D8DWEVE/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?qid=1434851471&sr=8-11&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&keywords=ctek%204.3%20ba ttery%20charger&tag=viglink21041-20

U could try Autozone and other auto parts, Interstate Batteries, or even a motorcycle store.

Battery, when the battery is shot the cars electrical sysyem does funky things, like when mine died the spoiler kept going up and down. I replace mine with the dihard along with a sears 3 amp charger/maintainer. When mine site the maintainer goes in the lighter. DiHar Gold, great battery.

Thanks FLA996. I see you on here a lot, so i trust what youll tell me. But, here in texas, those Diehards cant keep up w our heat. Cant tell you how many times theyve left me high and dry over the yrs in my other cars...to the point where i stopped buying them about 10 yrs ago.

Im going to find out whats in there now. Im pretty sure its on its 4th yr or so.

Thanks guys! Wanted to make sure there wasnt something special to the Pcars and battery chargers. I knew i wasnt going to coast down the driveway and pop the clutch

You are exactally right! There was a time years ago where the Di Hards were going south, but in the last 5 years or so the quality and life have been transformed back, the rep informed me they changed manufactures because of the problems. I've had mine for about a year and a half with no issues and the charger maintainer works great. My second recommendation would be the Interstate brand, the only thing different about the battery fitments is it needs the vent tube, do not get a sealed battery. And you don't need a "Porsche" branded battery. I'm sure youll find what's right for you.

Often times u can bring a sulfated battery back to life with a good charger like the Ctek. Sometimes they are just too far gone.
My rule of thumb in these modern cars with high battery drain is to plug in the charger anytime they go more than 3 or 4 days without being driven. Auto batteries don't do well with deeper discharges. They suffer some loss of life every time they are discharged too much, and it tends to be cumulative. So keep them topped up with ur Ctek when not being driven for days.
