Recovering with leather or something shouldn't be a big deal. However don't paint 99 parts as their bumpy and leave a crappy looking finish- that is half the reason I converted to 00 parts as I wanted them first pinted artic then got bored with it and painted them the exterior color which is less blingy but looks classier.
