Agency Power or BB exhaust?

Hey all,
Just purchased a new to me 03 C2 with sport seats and I am doing the Fister mod this weekend for a short temporary solution.

In the long run I would like to loose a little weight and heard fabspeed drones like crazy.

Billy Boat and Agency power both seem to sound extremely nice in youtube videos. Anyone here running either or have a review?

Thanks and glad to be aboard!

I wouldn't go by the Youtube Videos. If you get the correct set-up there should be no drone. Fabspeed products are well made and respected, but you need to get the full set-up meaning muffler, and cats, droning comes when one component is eliminated.

Maxflo seems too quiet and their supercup appears to be possibly too loud? I've owned many super loud, highly modified cars and am kind of over it. I want to hear the exhaust when cruising around town and I want it to be louder when I go WOT... I may be wrong, but I feel like I need something between maxflo and supercup

You may be surprised by how much you like the Fisters if you don't want a super loud car.

I'll have fisters by this week, so you may be right....I've just owned too many loud cars and want to be able to take 3 hour road trips to the mountains without being annoyed now

+1 & -1
It is absolutely true about the sound & performance gains of just mufflers compared to multiple components, ie. Cats and headers.
Unless you live in an area with many 996 3.6L non-turbo cars, videos are a good choice.
3.4L vs. 3.6L do not sound the same, and a turbo makes all of them sound better, so compare apples to apples.
Maybe a PCA event might help, a good sounding well tuned exhaust can very easily hit $4000 before you know it.
HOWEVER, pay attention to video, inside a garage or going under a bridge is not the sound of actual car. Cold start videos are also not indicitive of real sound. Also, if the car in video has multiple modifications will make a difference.
Don't be fooled by exotic brand names that bring large price tags, some are worth it and some are not.
GL and enjoy your search, that can be rewarding if you find what works for you.

IPE makes a great sounding valved system that lets you have it both ways with the push of a button. little spendy but the nicest built and sounding system i have heard.

Maxflo are quiet until you get to 5k RPMs. Then they hit that desired exhaust note. I was trying to get the Fisters but they didn't have any for the C4S at the time of the swap. I found a really good deal on the Maxflows but I was initially disappointed in the lack of sound. Now I'm more pleased with it. Throatier than stock at idle and low rpm and really nice but not obnoxious at the higher rpm range. I get enough unwanted attention when riding around town due to my window tint which isn't very dark. Last thing I need is for the cops to hear me coming.

I am really leaning towards the Agency Power, but we will see... In my mind, I am spending my money on suspension before I get into exhaust.

I'm running the B&B mufflers on my 2003 C4S and it sounds great. If anything I wish it was a tad louder, but I'm still happy with my choice. I'm looking at the air intakes and really like Fabspeeds, but dang they are pricey$$$$$. Good luck and have fun!

I think they have a less expensive intake system for around $350, which is the smooth silicon hose to replace the stock corrugated and a new air filter. Still expensive for what it is, but I doubt between that and their $800 competition intake there is much difference

I already have BMC filter, with stock air box, I wonder if there is any significant increase in performance going to compitetion system.
Although I also upgraded to IPD compitetion plenum along with the GT3 throttle body which came with a smooth silicon inhaler. The fabspeed look great!
