Why is Techart so expensive?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a hater, I love Techart and every piece, but why is it so frickin expensive? I don't get it.

I mean, RUF is quality pieces as well and don't nearly command the pricetag of Techart body parts. Even TA replica bumpers are running $2500+ (GT). Can someone pls shed some light?!!

I think the only decent deal are the wheels and the "regular" techart pieces (non-GT)... but still! arghhh

They have great reputation (deserved or not I have no idea), and most people really dig the specific styling.
I guess it's all about setting yourself apart from the competition.

Well said... That's what I was thinking as well

I was just curious to see if Techart has any "special" way of designing/manufacturing the bumper that other vendors dont do.. Or the history, I'm not too well versed with the company other than what it is currently producing

Techart is great stuff, I have no idea why its so much cash, with that being said Gemballa parts are stupit money too. They sell the stuff at that price because they can ...

Reasons:

1. Style
2. Fit (it fits like OEM)
3. Quality

I just love the looks.

Cause it's for porsche and we're dopy enough to pay those prices. There's plenty of other brands out there for lesser expensive cars where the quality is just as good and price is significantly less.

Fit and quality still isn't all that great with techart. Still requires adjusting by the bodyshop. I had a friend who just had his Techart bumper replaced due to poor fit. Not to mention they require damn near just as much prep as the lesser expensive stuff. I was considering a techart type IIc wing for my cab till I found out it rubbed the upper body when opened and whistled at speed.

Their stuff does look the best though.

I thought that place sucked. It was like no place to sit with your buds and babes just pimpin for a lap dance. They were nice looking, but the atmosphere was aweful.
