My Backyard

Well its not really my backyard but its less than 2 hours from us... If you guys have never made it to Yosemite, I highly recommend it.. We stayed at the Tenaya Lodge which is 2 miles from the Entrance to Yosemite and 30 miles to the Valley Floor!! It was a beautiful area to visit!! Thought you guys might enjoy the pics

Ah Yosemite!

My favorite place to go. did you guys get to drive on the Tioga Pass road? It is great this time of year.

My wife and I have a tradition that we go to Yosemite the 3-4th week of September every year. The crowds are gone, everything is still open, the weather is warm. We stay at the Ahwahnee, and do an small hike up to the top of Half Dome. You guys should come with us this year!

Here is a photo from the top of Half Dome from last September's hike. You go from the Valley floor at 4,000 ft to the top at 8,900 feet in only 9 miles. My wife and I figure that as long as we can still do this hike we are in half-*** good shape!
