C2 or C4S?
C2 or C4S?
I found a nice '03 C4S and now I'm debating C2 or C4S. Which model is more rewarding to drive and what are the differences in maintanice? If I get a C4S, I think I would drive it more, especially in the rain. If I got a C2 I know it would only come out in the nice weather, and that doesn't bother me, but besides this, which is more fun. I'm not looking for opinions on which one looks better (wide / narrow) body, just driving pleasure. I'm planning on doing some light tracking, but mostly joy rides on the weekends durning the summer. Thanks in advance.
I have had both and I like the usability of the C2 (trunk etc.) vs. the C4S. THe C2 is more nimble feeling yet the C4S looks better in its wide stance etc.
If I was given a choice.......In my current situation of need a daily driver that I can haul a few thigns in the C2 wins. If I did not need to haul things and had a few extra clams then the C4S would win.
Hope that helps

By "advanced options" do you mean added weight? Less feel? More computer control? Less of a track car? The C2 is the only real track car and without the LSD, it is less than it once was.

Better wider stance w/more rubber
Full load of options standard

I also like the Turbo front bumper on the C4S many C2 (like DonCapeCod) have to perform the retro-fit for that look... shows off the bumperplugs much better IMO.

The C4S runs the 'ring faster than any c2( not GT3), but what's Walter R know.
Mine has the X73 and is hardly a numb ride, in fact when I run in the red run group at Watkin's Glen, I know of very few C2's that can keep up with me. To each his own, '99 usually has some good points to make, he just does it a little roughly.
