doesn't look much more out of proportion than the old school 993 turbos. i think we're just too used to seeing these skinny 996's running around 
i'm not sure why they didn't make that rear fender seem horizontal and level with the bottom of the tail light. it does look slightly out of the place, but i still think it's cool.
look how fat the rear end is compared to the front on the SuperD mobile.

it doesn't help any that they did a ****ty job painting the rear end on that car. it really separates the lines and draws attention to itself. unless they did it on purpose to show what was a "kit" piece.

The correct sentence would be : "It looks like an old 66 911 with a fiberglass 930 kit on it"

The kit car you posted is remenicent of the black 911's that the bad guys drove in Condorman.
if a body shop could fill that seam between the fender and the bumper, i would be all about this. i really like the overall shape, although the execution isn't the greatest. but then again, i have bad taste
