I don't see how you can fit a 275 up front and have it work without rubbing.

I am going to do a 235/35/19 up front and cant decide if I am going with a 295 or 305 in the rear.

i have a 19x9 inch wheel up front which is wrapped in a 245/35 and i have a little rub when doing u turns. i wouldn't reccomend a 275 because it would definately look way to big. depending on the width of the wheel the max width should be probably a 245/35

wooooooo......19's on a C2 narrow body cannot handle anything more that 235-35 front or it will rub when you turn for sure....the back on the other hand....if you have 19x11 back you can go up to 305- 25-19, and as per Arling the master, this is best size to keep the overall running ratios to stock....and I trust and believe arling for sure.....this is what i just ordered....good luck

personally i think the 315 will look better and it won't be stretching the tire.

That's probably going to change soon, as the 997 C4S is running this size stock.

I have 19s also, the car had 245/35/19 F and 295/30/19 R when I purchasedit. The fronts did rub occasionally. As per Arling's advice I went to 235/35 F and 305/25 R, no rubbing and the wider rears look great.

Thanks again Arling.

Just another data point...on a C2 i'm running 19x8.5/19x11 F/R with 235/35 in the front, 315/25 in the rear. Suspension is HR coilovers set at max height (which is still pretty low), factory spec camber in the rear, and Conti 2s all around. The only time the rear rubs is on hard turns on the track and it rubs on the middle of the tread so fender rolling is not necessary for me (but maybe stiffer springs...).

The only other tires I've run are Yoko AVS sports but those 315/25s ran a little narrower than the Contis and the lip of the rim stuck out just past the tire.

Jeff makes a good point. At stock height and correct offsett you should be able to run 245 up front and 315 in the rear. However, if the car is dropped at all your better off running 235's and 305's. Good luck.
