help with master cylinder reservoir replacement
Hi, need some advice please.
I have a 2003 996 with manual trans. and PSM 110,000 miles. My problems started when my pressure feed line which runs from the master cylinder reservoir to the PSM pump was punctured by a sharp object causing brake fluid to leak. I replaced the part with a new one part number 99635532141 but by accident pulled out the entire fitting that this connects into the master cylinder reservoir. It puled out when I removed the old line. Its a copper fitting with two blue rubber O rings and one of them is torn. Even if they were both intact I'm not sure they would go back in anyways without some type of press to insert the fitting. Do I need to but a whole new master cylinder reservoir? I do expect that I will have to go to the dealer to get the PSM system bleed properly but I could do the rest at home.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply back. I ended up buying a new master cylinder resiviour from FCP Euro for 95 dollars. Only took about 20 min to install it, then I bled the brakes with my power bleeder. Breaking is better than ever.
For anyone else in the future. In order to disconnect the PSM line or the Clutch line you should hold a thin wrench up against the grey plastic piece while you pull hard on the line otherwise you risk pulling out the entire fitting like I did.

Thanks for the info. How is the power bleeder? Is it worth the money?
