996 Seat Recliner Wiring

I am in the process of fitting a pair of 986 sport seats in my 2002 C4S. The sport seats were manual the C4S has electric memory heated seats. I switched the bases to make the sport seats memory electric but not heated. I xan’t figure out how to power the seat recliner motor. Dies anyone have a wiring diagram for the memory CU that shows the wires that go to the recliner motor?

Wouldnt the original base recline switch still plug into the floor harness for power?

No, it’s not that easy when you are installing a manual seat into a car with power memory seats. I did finally figure it out. The female multi-connector attached to the seat that connects to the memory ecu has two wires, gray/black and gray/green. I cut off the plug for the recliner motor and removed the two wires from the female connector. Then I made my own connectors and it works as designed. My new seats have full power adjustments and memory.

Just took a little time to sort out the logic of the cars seat wiring.

Here is an after and before photo of the refurbished seats in the car.
