CGT and 997TT

I was at my local Porsche dealer dropping off my car to get the C4S Aerokit installed when I inquired about the CGT.

Even though the CGT retails for about $400,000, most Porsche dealers plan to sell the cars to the highest bidder. They will be allocated 1 CGT per dealer in the US...they are hoping most will go for over $1,000,000 US! (Are they dreaming?.)

Also it is still unclear when the new 997TT will be out. Most are thinking late '05 as a '06 model. Orders will start to be taken mid December...but right now this is only still speculation, nothing confirmed.

Your dealer is dreaming. I've been told market on early cars will be $600's, but with at least half of the 1500 build coming to the US, many dealers will get more than 1 car.

They phrased it just reverse for you... I understood that each dealer is guaranteed 1 CGT if they want it, but not every dealer will be limited to just 1.

The $600k market sounds right, given 299 Enzo's worldwide draw $1M price tag. I can't see the CGT pulling that with 5 times the volume.

Champion had over 20 orders last I checked. Crazy how many people have an extra 400k to burn down here.

The car will not hold its value

There are two many cars being produced, porsche is making plenty of money on them (unlike 959) and there are plenty of supercars comming out. No way 1 million dollars unless it is a marketing ploy
